Half of the toenail became unconnected and has broken off. Underneath it seems to be deeper than I expected. I'm worried that a new nail will not grow properly since the right half of the nail is flurishing. It shows no signs of falling off after a few months. go to the doctor. they can remove the rest of the nail and hope it regrows again. better have doctor check it out good luck
